Look into the Mirror
What do you see, when you look into the mirror. Something to be prodded or improved. Something to be covered up. Hair to be cut? Skin to cleansed? Eye brows plucked, applying make up. And on we go. We love to cover our selfs up, improve ourselves. We love to make ourselves appear better then what we appear to be. But are we missing something, something important, something vital. Look in the mirror, when you get up. Just look, and see that natural beauty that all humans share, a deep beauty, that we all have. Don't gloss over the rough edges, just look. What do you see? Do you see something that is inadaquate? You are decieving yourself... We are all beautiful, no matter what we are. We all deserve to be loved.
Am I rallying against make-up. No. Thats not the real point. And more often then not, we cover ourselves in more subtle ways then simple aesthetics. I am saying, begin with the understanding of how precious you are (ask the important people in your life, they'll tell you exactly how precious you are). And then, carry that forth into the outside world; there are people who are we are told are not beuatiful by magazines. Look beyond the glossy pictures presented to you, and see the truth. The beauty within us all.
