Simple, Impossible, Demanding you Attention

What kind of world do we want to live in? A world of freedom, a world of love, a world where there is oppertunity and growth, a world were one can live peacefully? Or a world of tyrranny, of oppression and sorrow? Few want the latter (although I have meet some who claim to indeed want this: I am not god, so I am not in a position to call them liars) and most would say they want the former. But do we really live in that world. No, of course not. There is far too much hatred going around in this world. When we are faced by the ultimate tragedy of mankind; the solution is, if I might steal the words of a wiseman, "Simple and impossible." However, at the same time, it "demands you attention."
The solution is this; stop being jerks. Simple. Impossible. Let me rephrase that so that you understand fully, for that is purely the negative aspect of the solution. The positive is simply to love one another as you love yourself (yeah, He is here, in the background for now, but don't worry, we shall talk of God another time (Matt. 22.39)).
It is impossible (or infinately improbable, I'm not sure), however, to get the entire human race to subscribe to this plan. But can you imagine what the world would be like; near to perfection as we can get.
What is the point, if its impossible. So, okay, maybe we can't make the entire world perfect. It was probably never in the cards to begin with. But by loving each other, maybe, just maybe, we can improve life at the micro level; maybe nationally, maybe provincially, maybe municiply, maybe in small groups, maybe at the friends and family level, maybe at the personal level. So try; maybe I am a fool. Trying it out can't hurt that much. And maybe, just maybe, there will be a better life for you because of your love.
